SKAMET SY-216 is a round wood-burning sauna stove with an external firebox for saunas of 8-18 m³.
The SKAMET SY-216/SY-220 wood-burning stove with external firebox is a sturdy wood-burning stove with external firebox, designed for small baths of 8-18 m³ and 16-25 m³. The round black steel net can hold up to 140 kg of stones. The stove heats up quickly, maintains the temperature well and the large amount of stones provides a large amount of steam. The stoves are durable because of the high quality steel used in their manufacture: combustion chamber-6mm, firebox and top (firebox)-4mm thick. With the right fuel and a sauna bath 1-2 times a week, the stove will last 8-10 years. The external diameter of the flue pipe outlet Ø115mm. The length of the flue pipe (through the wall) is 20cm.

| We recommend: | ||
| Because the outer shell of the sauna heater is coated with a temperature-resistant paint (black), which is fully cured when the sauna heater is first fired. Evaporating materials from the painted surface may have an unpleasant odour, so it is recommended that the first firing is carried out outdoors or in a well-ventilated sauna room where the stove will be located. Always fire the stove without stones for the first time; it is also forbidden to pour water on it. | ||
| Clean and dust the stones before placing them. Natural stones contain unsuitable impurities, such as sulphur, which make them unsuitable for use as firestones. We recommend that you choose stones designed for sauna stoves. | ||
| Dry wood is the best fuel for a sauna stove. The use of fuels with a high thermal energy output is prohibited. The manufacturer does not recommend filling the firebox with firewood to more than 2/3 of its volume, as overheating of the firebox is possible. This reduces the lifetime of the stove. | ||
